More projects, more staff, more fundraising

Apart from maintaining our funding and management of the current projects (25 projects with 14 partners) we have already started on some prospective projects for 2019 covering the construction of a village library, a new kitchen to replace an old and unhygenic one, a new primary school, and toilet blocks. We hope to have some good news on these and other projects in the new year.

To do this we will be stepping up our fundraising efforts in 2019 so that we can continue our support for existing projects and identify sponsors of the prospective projects . As part of that, in January, we have a welcome addition of a new communications intern for a 6 month placement.

We are looking forward to working on our communications strategy, a new social media push and refreshing a general design. Look out for her on our social media in the new Year.
