Thoughts On Father’s Day by the founder of Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Center
Today in Thailand is Father’s Day and in celebration of all that it means to be a father we asked Kyaw Hla Sei about the Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Center (BNSCLC) project he started way back in 2005.
BNSCLC helps promising young people not only receive a good education but also community skills WHILE also providing them with basic accommodation, food and a caring and supportive environment./p>
Find out more about this project hereGreetings, my name is Mr. Kyaw Hla Sein, thank you for giving me an opportunity to speak about “Father’s Day” and Happy Father’s Day to everyone.
The meaning of the word “Father” to me is a person who provides both love and everything to his children that will allow them to grow up happy with good quality of life without hoping to get something in return. My happiness is seeing smiles and happiness of the children Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Centre (BNSCLC).
They are like my own children because every time I am with them, I am always happy. I am happy to see that they are determined and engrossed in study and that they are trying to improve their quality of life to support their family and develop community for the better quality of life.
I have always believed that these disadvantaged children must receive a good quality of education which is the best solution for them to have a good quality of life.
Besides providing knowledge and life skills, we educate them in moral principle, ethics, and gratitude to their parents, benefactors and country. I am so happy and proud of all my children, over 15 years and 100s of people who have good future and a good quality of life, and can support their families and develop communities and their country even better.
They can live happily with others in different/diverse societies with dignity.
