Supporting girls’ education through scholarships

What would you do if your parents asked you to drop out of school to help earn money to support your family? This is the choice faced by so many... and it is why we believe it is so important to help provide scholarships to students who would otherwise have to make this choice.

For 10 years now, PCF has helped create opportunities for tens of thousands of beneficiaries. Currently we have 30 active projects (including emergency projects), but only 8.6 permanent team members. With very little overhead, we work hard for the thousands of people we support.

We need your help to fund our general donation pool - to cover shortfalls in our long term projects; to ensure we can quickly respond to emergency needs (in parallel with projects that address long term needs); and to help keep the "lights on".

We frequently post on Facebook about the small but essential projects that these donations support. See the latest impacts here.

We want to give back to the communities that have hosted us with such kindness.

The Thai communities often have their own language. Therefore, when the kids get into higher education, they often drop out due to a lack of understanding the Thai language. We want to support their education by raising money to hire a teacher who has the ability to speak and teach both languages. And, as a result, greatly increasing their chances of getting an education.
