Pyae Phyo Aung, also known as Daniel, grew up as a Myanmar migrant in Thailand, overcoming financial and social challenges. Now, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s in English for International Communication at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, where he hopes to use his education to foster inclusivity and social development.
Having volunteered as a teacher for Mon ethnic students and participated in community scouting initiatives, Daniel’s passion lies in bridging cultural gaps through education and communication.

Daniel was born in Thailand to Myanmar migrant parents who worked in construction. Despite the financial strain, his mother prioritised his education, enrolling him in Danyela Learning Center, where he excelled in English and later taught as a volunteer.
Now, at university, he continues to advocate for cultural exchange and language education, aiming to support underprivileged students and migrant communities.
I'm committed to bridging the education gap in rural communities.
My vision is to establish accessible learning centres that provide quality education for my people, equipping future generations with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
